Our story
Being a student is harder than ever before. Social media has altered the way our kids perceive the world and intensified the pressure and expectations they encounter. Nowadays, students' closest friends are often their electronic devices, and whether we acknowledge it or not, this SIGNIFICANTLY impacts their social and communication skills.
To add further challenges, AI (artificial intelligence) is increasingly taking over and will continue to replace many jobs currently held by adults. This means that communication and social skills will be one of the MOST coveted skills in the future.

Before delving into our story, did you know that public speaking is listed as the number one fear, ranking above death, for many people? A vast majority of adults experience enormous fear when it comes to public speaking. Beyond the initial fear, symptoms such as nausea, anxiety, muscle pain, and numerous other physical manifestations have been described.

Now, imagine the pressure students feel when they need to present in front of their classmates or a group of adults, especially when they are more accustomed to texting or messaging through their electronic devices.
The Legend Mindset Jr. aims to help students become comfortable with public speaking and presenting to a crowd. We coach students on how to cope with anxiety and fear through therapist created cognitive-based therapy approaches. Additionally, we share the key factors in developing a stage presence that leaves the audience wanting more.
The Legend Mindset Jr. focuses on transforming students' mindsets by helping them understand that confidence doesn't come from the number of followers they have on TikTok.
True confidence stems from the sense of pride one feels when delivering a speech or presentation that leaves a lasting impression on the audience.

Why us?
If you're here, you've either been looking around or are currently searching for a public speaking program for your child. You understand its importance and want your children to feel comfortable speaking publicly, whether it's in front of their class, at a school assembly, during a family wedding, or in a group interview.

You've invested time into researching and have now come across a few options, but you're unsure about the differences between them.

One program offers competitive debate and speech, with cash prizes as incentives. Another is a year-long program that incorporates a writing curriculum, focusing on the fundamentals of writing before addressing speaking skills. A third program claims to instill confidence and leadership skills in students through a few weeks of training.

While having multiple options is great, it has left you feeling confused and frustrated. Which one should you choose?

Take a deep breath.

We have been in the same position before, so let us help you out.

How is The Legend Mindset Jr. different?

-
The Legend Mindset Jr. curriculum has been created in collaboration with numerous licensed therapists to help students learn to deal with the anxiety associated with presenting & public speaking.
-
We share the key concepts in tackling self-consciousness, fear of failure and the lack of confidence (which can impact all parts of life).
-
We believe in providing a fun, collaborative environment where students can learn to COMMUNICATE with one another.
-
We want our students on stage, speaking in front of audiences. Football games are played on a field. Dance recitals are held on stage. Why should public speaking be any different? Our final speeches/presentations aren't done in a classroom; rather, our students deliver their final speeches in front of an audience.
-
Most importantly, our program is led by someone who has built an award-winning career based on his speaking and presentation skills.

While the first four points are self-explanatory, let's discuss the fifth point.

We deeply appreciate and value our teachers, recognizing that without them, we wouldn't be where we are today as adults. However, we also understand that presenting to an audience is DRASTICALLY different than coaching a class of children.

Therefore, our program is led by our Founder, who has been recognized with numerous awards over his career, for his success in speaking and presenting to executives of large Fortune 500 companies. Based on those achievements, he has mentored many others, published a book, and has been invited to address large groups over the years to share his methods.

Having our Founder focus on the speaking allows our teaching staff to support the program instead of leading it, which sets us apart from other programs.
Our Programs
Speaking & presenting in front of people, confidence, psyche & leadership are all fundamentals that we focus in our program. Our programs are designed to reduce nervousness and build confidence through real-world presentation scenarios.
The fear of public speaking is the most common phobia in the world. While some people experience slight nervousness, others face extreme anxiety and panic.
Our public speaking program is comprised of three different levels and incorporates real-world scenarios to help students conquer this fear at an early stage. Through this course, our goal is to equip students with the skills to deliver engaging and impactful speeches that captivate their audience.

Presentations are a significant part of life. Students are often required to present in front of their classmates throughout their school years, and this continues into their university years. As adults, whether it's through the interview process with a potential employers or once they've begun their careers, presentations will become a part of their work lives. With AI (artificial intelligence) becoming more prominent, the ability to communicate and present will become crucial. In this program, we guide students in understanding how to create impactful presentations that effectively convey value and engage their audience.
